Do You Think I Was Wrong In This Situation
15 Answers
I met Sarah through university and we became good friends. She was one of those women who falls out with everyone all the time and I knew eventually the day would come when she fell out with me like she does everyone else. She is an angry, sometimes violent person and seems to have issues.
Anyway we arrange to go on a night out with one of her friends and have a few drinks. Half way through the night we decided to go somewhere else but when we went to leave she got into a fight with the bouncer and started kicking him! He told her to leave and she got all upset and angry so called her boyfriend to take her home. Realising she could be going home I looked at the time and saw I had only a few mins to get the next train or wait an hour. I told her I would be leaving and she shouted 'go and get the train then'. So I did! She then text saying I was a rubbish friend for leaving here there and her boyfriend hadn't been able to get her so she had had to get the tram. It was only 8pm so not the middle of the night.
I decided to call her the next day to apologise but then she ignored my call and hasn't spoke to me since. I have decided to leave it as I don't really think I did anything too horrendous.
She was happy to leave me alone had her boyfriend picked her up!
Do you think I was wrong?

Thanks guys. She is a nice person but has issues and just gets angry and upset with everyone. It was a bit mean to leave her alone but it was 8pm not the middle of the night and I was only leaving because she was calling her bf to pick her up.
I don't want to rekindle anything anyway. I'm pleased we are not friends. I'm just a little upset about the situation and asking for opinions

why do you have to apologise ? she had told you her boyfriend was collecting her, so she had made the first decision, you then said you would get the train, its 8pm at night a safe time to leave another person to make her own way home. Did she offer you a lift to the station in her boy friend's car, no she only thought about herself. Pity the boyfriend.
Walk away now, don't contact again and if in a few weeks time she has no one left to go out with and she asks you tell her you are busy you have made new friends now and you have given up drink, do not let her back into your life do you need it ? no of course not.
