Good Morning Early Birds!

Monday is here again, with a new month. Yesterday was lovely and sunny. We were told it will be today. 'Wonderful.' I thought. 'I can get the bedding on the line.' Of course it's raining. In the drier it goes.

Tiggy was in early last night, 9.15. He didn't stand still as hedgehogs do, hoping to not be noticed when I went to put his food out, he came right up to me and got stuck in, almost taking it out of my hand. It's taken three years to get this far. :o}

My mate is back home from Ireland. He came up with a bottle of TD and the real Irish black pudding and white pudding. A whole one of each! He got them from the shop where they are made to a secret recipe. i have no idea how much they cost him, but it wasn't pennies. I have changed what I was planning for lunch today (a curry) to a fry up to include some of my puddings. I' looking for ward to that!

I'm well, thank you, WBM (and you sound like you're in fine form!).

I'm not actually sure whether it's 'night' or 'morning' for me at the moment.

I'm normally just off to bed when you post ('cos I'm a night owl) but I went to bed at 10.30 last night (after 3 pints of bitter in the pub) and then woke up 4 hours later. I realised that I wasn't going to get back to sleep again, so I got up at 3.45 and I've washed and dressed, so it might be morning for me. However I might still go back to bed later, so perhaps it's still the middle of the night really?

I know where you at Chris. I don't sleep a lot, that's how I know when tiggy is out and about. (Their nest is in the garden) He trips the security lights.

Saturday was a lovely day. My friends enjoyed their lunch, and tea. They were too full after the starter and main courses, so we had the trifle at tea time. :o}

I Scotland, we also have the black pudding, mealie pudding, white pudding and fruit pudding. I always hated all of them as a child and that feeling has stayed with me ever since. I hope you enjoyed yours though.
Rain, heavy rain, is forecast here today and is due any minute we're told.

I am rather fond of real black and white pudding, not the plastic wrapped rubbish you get in supermarkets. ;o}

Hi chico, I'm an insomniac. I'd love to be a good sleeper but no such luck. 2-3 hours a night usually. Sometimes, no sleep at all. Then, I'm really cranky !!
Boaty, got a load of errands to do this morning, meet a friend for lunch, then home to my usual mountain of ironing. a load of housework, I had a visitor here at the weekend so no cleaning etc was done then . It's all there waiting for me today though. Oh joy...

^ IN Scotland, sorry, typo. As I'm a veggie, I wouldn't eat black pudding these days. Fruit pudding was always sliced and friend in bacon fat usually. Yuck. You can just hear your arteries slamming shut can't you?
