the new law that came into force on 9th sept, how does it affect the driving of cattle floats towed by an agric tracter. and is the 3.5 tonne limit the gross weight of the combination

Thanks Chris, beat me to it. OH has just had to undergo his CPC sitting-in-a-classroom "training" - needs doing again in 5 years.

Have a word with a Traffic Examiner or Enforcement officer at your local VOSA wully they will advise you.

Driver CPC does not apply to those towing a livestock trailer behind a tractor or a 4x4, as these are driven on a different category of licence. It also does not apply to tractor or trailer.
