office romance gone wrong
I split up with my boyfriend about 3 months ago. We got together very soon after he split up with his partner of 9 years, infact i'm ashamed to say there was a bit of an overlap (something I never thought I would do!). As a result of the way we got together and his uncertainty at the beginning of the relationship i was very insecure.
I believe this is what eventually split us up - if only I could have relaxed with it all more and not always thought he was about to end it, we may have had a chance. As it stands, we had a big row after our 1st holiday together (upon our return he became very distant and we didnt speak to me for a week - surely that would upset even the strongest of people?!).
When he eventually decided he wanted to see me following the holiday I got very drunk and ended up getting very upset and everything came out. I then finished the relationship, followed swiftly by a suggestion of a 'break', as I regretted it.
After a couple of weeks, i instigated some contact adn he said it was over. Said he never should have got so 'involved' in the first place. We were together for over a year and we still work together. Its not easy. I wonder where I went wrong and if he ever really cared. We are not friends now and don't speak to each other unless its about work.
I want to move on but how can i when exposed to him everyday?

It does sound as though the relationship is finished, he has moved on, you need to do the same. Try and get out and about with friends, meet new people, and try and get your life moving forward.
As for work, you'll just have to steel yourself to be professional, and wait for the hurt to heal. At all costs avoid letting him see you are upet, dignity is important in these situations. Hope it goes well for you.
