What is considered an offence. I walk my dogs in a public park. There is supposedly a dog order to stop me. There are no notices, I pick up mess left by my dogs and any others. If I am stopped by a dog warden do I have to give my name as my dogs are not committing an offence as I see it.,

If you have been told by a dog warden that the dogs have to be on a lead, put them on a lead.

I suspect the Warden would call the police IF they are acting within the law, which you could find out by asking the question I proposed in my first answer.

Frog nog We have walked dogs in the area for at least 55 years put in over 220 letters against an order. The order should be proportionate. It isn't. Why should we have dogs on leads in the fenced off area where they cause no problem for anyone? The area they would want us to use is used regularily by football teams, children and open to the road.

Northamptonshire. The members of the local council know we still use the park but the dog warden has given some people notices. Half have paid, half have refused.

You can fight them, but if you disobey them you can expect a fine. That's the way it works.

These dog owners are so arrogant - "everybody must give way to my darling little doggie".

Some of us prefer that these filthy creatures who freely defecate all over the place don't permeate every aspect of our lives.
