Silent Call To Business Line

What is the best way to stop silent calls to business lines. We recently get silent calls from someone or automated dialler once every hour. It is annoying for the staff.
What can be done?

do you get the number? Silent calls are now illegal.

There is no numbers when dialled 1471.

There is a service that blocks anonymous calls, so anyone calling and withholding their number, won't get through.
It won't work for "number not available" from certain calls made from abroad though :(

I have just registered with tps and will start taking logs of the call.
I am interested with blocking service, what does it call please? Is it available to any provider?

We've had ours for aaaaages with Virgin Media.
You're meant to pay a small monthly fee, but ours is free (no idea why - maybe we started it when it was free and it's continued that way).
Your phone provider will be able to help you more on this, giving you a price, etc .... but basically if anyone phones us and withholds their number, they hear the following message: "Sorry, your call has not been accepted, anonymous call barring is in operation."
Like I said in my previous post, it won't help stop calls from abroad, where the number is unavailable, but it'll certainly stop anonymous calls made from the UK.
