Had A New Washer Delivered Early Feb

Now its playing up. The tumble dryer is filling up with water and not drying. Am i entitled to ask them to take it back and give me another?. Hotpoint are sending an engineer tomorrow, but i don't agree with them repairing it, as this wasn't fit for purpose because it broke down within a month. This is ridiculous, i have a feeling they will attempt a repair. I want a replacement. i do not want my new washer messed about with when it is supposed to be brand new. I have been so stressed with it.

I assume this is a washer/dryer? There is probably a valve sticking and letting water in. As said you have to give them a chance to fix it first,you can't just demand another one.

It would be sensible to keep records of all the run around
I get the point - if breaks down then it is not of merchantable quality but I still think you have to give them the chance to fix....

Its ok, no repairs made. There was nothing wrong, just a loose connection. I'm an idiot. x

That is why you have to let them try to mend it first, this sort of thing is very common.
