I did one of those on the Telegraph and got Labour. Was rather disappointed that the first question wasn't "Are you completely mad?" to which an answer of "yes" would have jumped straight to Labour as well. An opportunity missed for the Telegraph there...
Broseph....your question is simple but the answer is far from simple !
All I can suggest is that you study all the Manifestos of the main Parties, (and yes, even UKIP ! ) and see how you feel. Try to ignore personalities and stick to issues. I would urge you to vote for the same Party that I shall be voting for but in the end, its up to you to decide.
If it helps, then ignore the real loony-tunes, as it will make your choice easier, but not by much I suppose !
I urge you to do that survey in the link it does ask key questions that will tell you how to vote for how you think. I did it and it said Tory and that is no surprise but I would not presume to tell you how to vote or indeed out line the parties for you as that would be inherently bias. I will tell you that mikey above is going to vote labour so we have one of each in this thread to balance. In turn I am also grateful for most of those above for resisting the urge to get you to vote for their choice. I like this kind of thread as it shows an un brainwashed poster sincerely looking for guidance.
No thanks goodness ! Farage managed to knock that one on the head, although perhaps he should have checked the loonyness-level of Mr Silvester, before allowing him to join the Party in the first place ::::
Another consideration is that, if you are in a particularly close-fought seat, then you might want to decide which candidate/ party you dislike most and vote tactically against him/ her/ it. Perhaps more than ever there are going to be several close races and tight margins, so if for whatever reason you fear one party more than most then bear that in mind too.

That's probably because I've never been followed or been interested in politics! :)
I'm running out of time and haven't the time to study each group in depth. Might just vote green and then study politics so the next time I'm more educated.
