if you have a cheaque book but don't use it and the date of issue was 2006 can I still use it now.

Check the details against the details on your bank card or statement. The Bank may query the first couple of cheques due to the age, but there won't be a problem, all you have to do is to explain the situation or if you are worried, either next time in the Bank, order a new book or phone them up.....your local branch....and order one then.....they will ask for sort code and account number.
