My Freind Works As A Carer And Has Just Been Told That The Weekend Shifts
have been changed from 7am until 2.00m to 7am until 10pm now.? That is 15 hours with just 1 hour break.? Are they allowed to just do this.? Plus it has to be the saturday and sunday at these times.?

However a gap of only 9 hours between the end of the Saturday shift and the start of the Sunday one is unlawful; the minimum break there must be one of 11 hours:
