Lease Extension On A Leasehold Flat
2 Answers
I live in a leasehold flat, and wish to extend my lease. Over the past few years the landlord has granted lease extensions to three other leaseholders charging them £20,000, £22,000,and £27,000 respectively. I have asked for a price for my lease to be extended and the landlord has told me to get my own valuation. Can he do this or is he obliged to give me valuation by law? Any help is welcome, thanks!

in answer to your question, he is NOT obliged to get a valuation for the job, I am virtually certain, and neither are you
but it would be difficult to come to some sort of agreement
