Hi. All.
My question is this.
After working for 15 yrs for the same company offshore two weeks on two weeks off without missing even one single shift i have now found myself ill with heart problems.
Unfortunatly this has occured during the downturn in the price of oil and i have found myself as have many others on my notice. I have been given the normal notice period of 12 weeks but the company are only paying my statuary sick pay as my notice payment. Is this correct because i only fell ill a couple of weeks before i was informed that my job was at risk.
Cheers in advance.

I doubt it. They are giving you 12 weeks' notice and you will be paid during that period. You will be paid at your current rate which in your case is SSP.
