Worth a go.
My husband used to use his London pass on Worthing buses.
As I understand it the Chester West..etc bus pass is part of the English National Bus Pass scheme and is therefore valid anywhere in the country. There are some exceptions though; while you can use your pass on the normal London buses, they cannot be used on tourist sightseeing buses.

The answer is yes - just show it to the driver as you get on
All English 'senior' bus passes can be used anywhere within England (other than on 'tour' services).

However, while passes issued in London also give those passholders free travel on the Underground (and some National Rail services), those concessions aren't available to people who hold passes from other areas.

So, yes, you can use your Cheshire bus pass in London but only on the normal Transport for London bus services (and not on the Underground or tour buses).
Even better is the fact that you don't have to wait until 9.30 to use it. You can even use it in the morning rush-hour!
