Can You Find Out What Someone Has Been Charged With?
Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a way to find out why someone was in court I have their full name, the crown court name and the case number.
The reason I am looking as the person sexually assaulted me 6 years ago has attacked others since but has never been found guilty at court and I'm being a bit nosey.
Sorry I'm not very knowledgeable about these things.

You need the date as well as the case number by the way .
You could try Googling the persons name , court and date , that may give you the Law Page information eg 'Joe Bloggs Anytown Crown Court 21/10/2015'
If he was found not guilty I think there will be no records kept though.
Another thought if he was guilty of a sexual crime he will have been put on the sex offenders register, you could search that

You may have to wait until the case comes to court
and then present yourself at short notice

terribly stressful for the family where the now adult BB child came forward and said a previously valued friend of the family was in fact no friend at all
This APPARENTLY is the reason why the accused is not anonymised as other victims come forward during the case is a commonish occurrence - certainly occurred with Max Clifford
I am terribly sorry this has happened to you
You should if you are feeling stressed, seek professional help early rather than letting it stwe and get on top of you
