Postage Stamps Costs To Rise 2016.

Does anyone know if the cost of postage stamps in the UK is to rise again this year? They normally go up every March, but I havent heard anything about it this year..

Royal Mail, i think rather than PO.
Yes, i think more and more people are not posting Christmas cards because of the postage costs.
But if you need to send something 300 miles it's still pretty good value. Phone calls to people like HMRC can easily cost £2 nowadays so I find it cheaper to send some queries by post.
I rarely post anything other than birthday cards now

The cost of postage stamps doesn't rise (a 20p stamp costs 20p all the time)....it's the postal rates that increase.
And, TWR, it's nothing to do with the "PO"...it's Royal Mail to blame>

I usually do about 10 prize crosswords a week and have now changed to on line or texting answers.

Well,now that the Royal Mail has been hived off into private hands, like everything else in Britain that isn't nailed down, of course the prices will go
up !

How else are the greedy shareholders going to make their killing from ?

Just announced on BBC news, first class to go up 1 penny next month.
