Restraining Order Removal

I have a magistrates court ordered restraining order in place due to an harassment charge. The order is in place for 18 months and includes not attending the home address. Even though we had separated and she made the initial charges, it seems she did not want this outcome and is having second thoughts about our relationship. To this end, she is wanting to have the restraining order removed. However would it be a long process? I understand she would have to attend the court and state her reasons why she wishes the removal, after speaking with her solicitor. The main question though is, how likely are the magistrates to agree and drop the order? It maybe worth mentioning that I am due to be imprisoned shortly for a separate charge, so I won't be in the picture at all.

Depends totally on the full facts of the case, each case is assessed on it's own merits. The court will need to be certain the woman really does want the order lifted and is not under any pressure from you or anyone else to have it lifted.
