Assault By Beating

Over the last 6 months I have been going through a court case with my ex as victim, he basically beat me up and got found of assault by beating. The facts lay that he pushed me over a bath, punched me in the face between 8-13 times at a guess and continuously tried to strangle me throughout the attack. I had multiple bruises to my face which took 3-4 weeks to disappear. I kicked him in the stomach and managed to wind him and get out of the bath. I then escaped the house and rang the police in which he fled. I posted a post on social media which got a lot of shares – he then handed himself in a week and a half later in another county. We were supposed to go to court in Jan which he turned up to but it got adjourned to March – He then didn’t turn up to the case in March and had moved in with another new gf elsewhere in the country and got found guilty. In a&e the doc thought I had a fractured skull due to the swelling on one side of my face but luckily this went down and a week and a half later they confirmed it was just bruising. I gave the police his new address elsewhere for him to be found. It has since come up that he has plenty of previous convictions against ex gf’s which I of course didn’t know. Possibly even double digit offenses but at least 2 I know that have been to court. Sentencing is this week at a mag’s court – does anyone know what he could be looking at sentencing wise? he also has a contempt of court charge now too i imagine....

I would hope he is looking at a jail term, but without more information as to charges we can't say much.
I am struggling with the 'time line' here, in the first part of the question you talk about what happened up to March when he 'moved in with another gf and got found guilty'. Then you suddenly say 'in a&e the doctor thought I had a fractured skull'
We need the whole story from the beginning in the order it happened without jumping from one time to another.For example '' You say he didn't turn up for court in March'' and then in the next line you say ''he got found guilty'' when and where did he get found guilty and of what offence? How and when did you get the suspected fractured skull ?
