I have always understood that if you are crazy enough to use a lawyer for this then his fee is deductible under the rule, clearly not capital and exclusively for the purpose of
the costs of maintenance and repair - which are the usual deductions for letting are deductible ( but not twice once for this year and the same lot for the nextt year )
