I can think of quite a few more suitable adjectives than controversial, Mikey.

Garaman....there are lots of words that I could use, when discussing Green, but they would almost certainly get me banned here on AB. I shall leave them up to your imagination !

"In February, Sir Philip ( eventually ) finally agreed, after months of pressure, to pay £363m into the BHS pension schemes"

Eventually is my word.
I mean god even i realised that
and I have never been a pension trustee
Not that I want to defend Sir Shifty but its an odd thing to claim. I hope he has some written proof that Green actually did think that.
Wait for 'it was all the tories fault'!!
well I fear it was Mr Brown who taxed the pension funds £20bn a year and well and truly screwed final salary pensions over the last 20y

The deficit is basically £400 bn - and hey for those who do fundamental arithmetic 20 x 20 is four hundred

I got an email from BHS the other day inviting me to visit their site. It is just like the old BHS site but I don't know who own it now. They are having a sale.
good point PP, Brown ripped off 400bn from pensions.
