has anyone tried reading it
He was arrested put in a cell without a drink
confessed to whatever
and now wishes to say that the confession was co erced
are they allowed to do this
NJ where are you
anyway I think they can do this ( just zap you in a cell with five sheets of bog paper)
but if you are going to try for 'duress' then you need a lawyer.
I mean I think slashers english is OK compared say to 3T

Under Code C relating to the requirements of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, anyone held in custody must be given a written statement of their entitlements, which includes "adequate food and drink":

However you might find it hard to argue that 3 hours without a drink is unreasonable. Plenty of people have to work for far longer than that without any tea breaks, for example.
