New £10 Notes Sticking Together In Cashpoint Machines

Mrs Z has just discovered that the £100 she thought she'd drawn out of a cashpoint is in fact £80. She thought it was £70 until she found two of the new £10 notes stuck together.
I know, I know she should have checked but it was persisting it down.
Anyone had a similar experience?

She should complain to the company that own the cash dispenser.
I hope she has reported it to the owners of the machine, bank or whoever. As for weather, I will only ever use machines within banks for security reasons, even they can be tampered with but at least it is easier to check whilst in the dry.
On a related subject....how many of us like this new tenner ?

Thanks. She's onto the bank now.
have not seen one yet !
ive got two, the design to me is irrelevant the fact they can fold so sharp you cant feel them in your(trouser) pockets just like the new fivers and can easily pull them out without knowing is what i hate
Ivor..get a wallet ?
The cash machine I tend to use counts notes out one by one. I wonder is this a better method with the new notes.
I quite like them. There is a smashing engraving of Jane Austen, and this note has some raised braille-type dots, to help the visually impaired.

But they are almost the same size as the new fiver....not quite sure why the sizes are so similar ?
I only ever draw out £10 or £20 at a time (and that's normally only once a month) so I doubt it will be a problem for me. I only use cash to pay the windowcleaner (and he'd be happy with a cheque) plus a few coins to go in charity tins.
Good advice from Minty.....its never a good idea to carry notes loose in a pocket.

I store mine in the iPhone 6 case that I use, to protect the phone. It also ensures that you are rarely without some money, just in case.
murraymints i dont like wallets ,good job 99% of my under £30 purchases are by a contactless card, the rest by entering the number of my card the tenner is only for back up if needed
haven't got my hands on a new fiver yet :-)

All sorted and reimbursed.
I detest them, and the fivers, they don't fold properly and pop out of my purse too easily.
Good result Zacs !
I like the new £5.00 & £10.00 notes but I expect I'm in the minority.
Glad it's sorted, Zacs....and I'll bet MrsZ isn't the only one...they manage to be sticky and slippery at the same time....

I bought a new purse with a zip when I lost £5...it slid out of my wallet type purse.....x
I don't like them. I work in an amusement arcade, and sorting the notes is becoming quite irksome. Once the new 5s and 10s have been folded they never lie flat again and the piles slide all over the place.
Anyone old enough to remember the white Fiver? Many places would not accept them unless you signed your name and address on the back.
