Judge Grinder

Friday night’s edition of Would I Lie To You on BBC1 featured the newly-separated (surely he can find a good divorce lawyer) Judge Rinder on Lee Mack’s Team. The mystery guest (or whatever it’s called) round featured a man Rinder had had a crush on when they were at school but hadn’t seen since the early 90s. The man admitted he hadn’t been aware of Rinder’s crush at the time. Judging by the vey high level of embarrassment when this was revealed to viewers, I wonder if the guy had been told (by the programme makers) anything more than the fact that he’d been at school with Rinder (ie, not about the crush). It was not revealed whether this man is also gay, but as they’d apparently not seen one another in about 25 years how do you think he came to guest on this Show? Rinder admitted he used to google the guy in times of boredom. Might he have asked for him to be brought on so they could finally be introduced properly, and his crush declared? Interesting timing with Rinder splitting from his husband, don’t you think?

I don't know enough about how the Mystery Guest is chosen but imagine that he'd have been informed about what RR was going to say prior to being brought out onto stage.
As for the rest of your conspiracy theory.......well, it's all a little OTT, isn't it?
