Can Police Men Beaten Woman Prisoner?

Hello, im very sad, my heart feels like i want to die but i'm not. My heart is broke and i don't realise. My mom got in jail for stealing a grocery item, which we are really broke at those times. I still in my highschool, and my brother is drug addicted. My mom trying to feed us and find some food to eat while she go out but she got caught, she got in jail and prisoned. My mom just call me earlier telling that she really miss me, and she not that too long, and she loves me. She told me that if the police give her to call again she'll call me. But otherwise she text my aunty, told that she been beaten by a police men. She got kick in her back, her hair got groped and kicked. She told my aunty, she rather dying. Can a police men really beaten up women? Please, i don't know what to do anymore, is people stealing is so bad that even a men can kicked a woman? She called me saying she just miss me and she dont sleep at night. But she told my aunty she dont eat and sleep at night bcs she can't eat because her body is very in pain. She call me with a sad tone in her voice i feel so stupid and so bad not to realise. I got depressed and i don't know what to do anymore, please give me an answer.

Well.. In Malaysia stealing is considered a big crime. You are lucky your mother still has her hands. (they're close to that kind of punishment you know..) It is not legal for a police officer or prison guard to attack or brutally harm inmates at all, it isn't anywhere.. However they're the ones in charge, hopefully a colleague will help yuor mother or your mother could try and reach out to another guard on duty?

She moved to another prison, she tell my aunty that she scared she'll get beaten again bcs the police told her that she'll get beaten again soon

No, only if they need to make a point, or if they are messed up in the head. They will not try and kill your mother else they could face serious legal action from yourself (if you could prove a officer hurt her to the point of death)

I think you need the help of a close family member to ask the police Chief exactly what has happened to your Mum and what is likely to happen to her from this point.

The one who drug addicted is my brother, is not my mother, my mother never been touch a drug or even smoke a ciggarettes.
