Sunday. After a calm day yesterday the wind is back. I don't know yet if it's raining. Yer wee man on the idiot box is telling us it's about to. Tomorrow is going to be mucky. Roll on summer!
Some good rugby yesterday. Today is the match. England v Ireland. At Twickenham, KO 1500.
The usual shoplifting this morning and see my favourite checkout girl, Vera called her my second wife! :o} She really is a lovely girl, the world could do with more like her. She looks about 30, but has grandchildren!

couldn't fault the French at all.

lack of sleep is doing my head in, the nuisance is that i fall asleep on the sofa..which is worse as it's not long enough to stretch out on...apart from that i am ok

It should be. England made so many errors it was unbelievable.

perhaps people thought they were going to win because of their relative success in the World Cup..

I think England took it for granted that they would win and didn't try hard enough.

they were asleep in the first half, they only started to play better in the second half,
