My sister and I had plans today, but she cancelled because she was sick, no big deal. Tonight she asked if I was coming over tomorrow to do her nails, I told her not if she was sick. I am not worried about myself, the chances of her having COVID-19 are very slim, but I live with my mother who is on oxygen, has COPD, and many other risk factors. Her nails are not worth our mothers life. She reminded me that I had promised to help her with her nails and told me she would never break a promise.
Am I in the wrong? Am I being overly cautious?

protect your mum at all costs, nails can wait...
Say you'd have done them today if she hadn't cancelled. I can understand you not going. Suggest next week
You’re completely in the right xx
You are correct. Your sister is being very selfish.
Trying to manipulate you as well, not nice at all
I think postponing is fair enough. (Especially in the present circumstances.) Her getting sick changes the conditions for any promise. Was rather unfair of her to bring that up.
You are absolutely right.
Offer to light a candle for her.
Common sense........... protect the vulnerable, it’s a no brainier really .
Maybe shes not as sick as she said she was yesterday! That'll teach her.

Stay away for at least 7 days and tell her its in accordance with government guidelines.
Can only agree with everyone else. Even if she hasn't got the virus , she could have something else you could catch and pass on to your mother. Its not worth the risk. Her nails can wait.
I think 7 days is an under estimate. I've been poorly and it lasted nearly 2 weeks.
She is being very selfish. No, you are not being over cautious, you are right.
Of course you are right. Definitely not worth putting your mother at risk.
no I think you stick your feet down and say
I wont
No, her nails can wait ! Your Mother comes first !
Nails are not important at all in my opiniom!
Hope you feel better soon ummmm. I have had sore throat, sinus and other problems since being ill with a virus since early January. I feel really run down, depressed and really vulnerable.
I feel much today. I didn't realise how poorly I was until my energy returned.
Good. X
