Much has been written about how restaurants will be operating from tomorrow but I haven't read anything about the loos. Only six people at a table inside but everyone using the same toilet? Will we have to wipe everything down on entry or will that be the job of an employee after a customer's use?
I've always avoided touching any surface in a public toilet (for as long as I can remember) by the judicious use of tissue, paper towels, sleeves etc. Public toilets were never healthy environments even before Covid!
Thanks for that woofgang - I don't think I'll be visiting any restaurant soon in case I need to use the loo. Signs telling people what to do. Really? In my local Tesco many people can't seem to understand which way the arrows go although an arrow is universal so expect them to read and follow instructions. No thanks.
The policy being adopted in pubs and restaurants run by Greene King is as follows:
"There will be new one-in-one-out red and green indicators at the entrances to the toilets so customers can flip the indicator with their elbow as they enter and exit, with toilets cleaned every 15 minutes"
