What's Related?

I call novels, comics, movies and tv shows plot things becuase they all have a plot and work in one way. Is a video game with the same word in the name as a plot thing related? Is all video games with the same words related? When i say super mario what does i talk about? I make up the word Hif. If there was a video game called Hif would all video games with Hif in it's name be related?

Poeple talk as if everything with the same words in is related at times. If a video game has a movie's name in it's name is it related? If everything that has the same words in it is related some series is too long and i find it worse that poeple say that. I think that the video games that has as much similiar things in them is related but others with the same name in them isn't. How far can fictional related things extend? If a comic would be called Hif, would a pillow called Hif related? Would a figure that have Hif in it's name be related? Would another comic called Hif jil be related? Would multiple video games that have Hif in their names be related? I want to play video games but if all video games that have the same words in them is related video games get's worse and i don't know how other poeple can enjoy as much if they think they is. Super mario bros is better if not everything that has Super mario in it is related. I don't want to involved with everything that has Super mario in it becuase with that many things it's too risky. I think that the first mario games is related but other things that has Super mario in it's name isn't but does others think that? I want an answer on this becuase how much poeple talk as if everything with some words in is related.

Sounds to me that what you are referring to is a franchise, which can cover anything to do with a named film or character and include everything from films,comics,games to bed sheets and lunch boxes.

Why do you make as many things as you can be related and make poeple that haven't meet the poeple that made other things in the franchise and is unfimiliar with other things in the franchise make more related things. I wouldn't do that. Why isn't just what the first poeple made and the poeple they know be related? It could creating your own movie worse becuase it has nothing related to it. Then i will stay away from fictional things that has that many related things to it such as Super mario bros nes altough the very old famous Super mario bros nes is good. I can't find more similarities in everything that has Mario in to Super mario bros nes then other things so i don't know why they is related anyway.

The reason they do it is quite simple - to make money, and as much as possible.
