Have been a bit reluctant to try meds but finally acquiesced
after losing a work collegue/friend a few days ago to a stroke.

Blood pressure is so up and down, (but always above normal)
Gp has requested a 4 day recording of it (twice a day)
before prescribing meds. (with follow up appointment on Wednesday. Telephone of course...!)
Meantime, im noticing that there are blind spots in my reading...books or screen..
is this a sympton of blood pressure?
Thanks.

Nailit; pleased to see that you are still alive. I hope you're not feeling too bad.
I don't know about blind spots. Maybe someone else can come along and advise.
Yes those symptoms could be due to your high BP......something called Hypertensive Retinopathy, but only an Optician or Ophthalmologist could determine.

Last eye test seemed to be fine sqad!
(apart from needing glasses but no other health probs recorded)
Nailit; best not let them introduce lenses into your body! :-)
Well, that good Nailit that would rule out an association between you eye symptoms and you blood pressure.
An ordinary eye test might not show blind spots, you need an enhanced test that studies that possibility. Your optician should be able to do this.
