Unwanted Deliveries
Hi, my b.i.l is receiving various unpaid for random items by courier, they have been ordered under an account set up in his name but he has no such account or desire for the items. We have told the sender last week and they said they are looking into it, however they still come! The police aren't interested, the calls to the sender have so far amounted to £15 on a premium number. We are to try rejecting the courier drop off with proof it has gone back, but I can imagine a snag with the courier not having anything in place for this or something. Any other suggestions welcome, forewarned and forearmed.... Thanks.

Thanks both, sorry for late reply, been on school run. Since my post, the courier has been, b.i.l rejected parcels (3 this time). Courier was Hermes, took delivery back, left proof printout, the origin is a company called JD? They are supposed to have cancelled the account. We'll see! Could be right about "brushing" hopefully the company will sort it, they'll soon get sick of the returns otherwise. Having the proof from the courier is good. Thanks for your replies.
Might this be the company?

Is it this company? I can’t see them being involved with anything remotely dodgy. https:/ /www.jd william s.co.uk /
Various ways to contact JDWilliams.
I've dealt with them for years with no issue.

Don't dispose of the goods - you can if it is an unsolicited parcel that the retailer has billed you for in an attempt to make a sale but that isn't the case here.
Somebody has set your BiL up either as a prank or maliciously. Tell him to contact JD Williams using any of the ways in Mamya's link. Hopefully they will arrange collection of the goods and stop sending them. He also needs to be reassured that his bank details haven't been given as a payment method.
