How Do I Switch My Personal Bank Account To A Business Account?

Hello, I run a small cash-based takeaway business with my brother. Recently it is getting hard to get change and the bank refuse to exchange spare change with me unless I have a business account (I use a joint account with my brother for the business). I am thinking about opening a business account but I want to open it with a different bank. How should I proceed? Should I open a business account with my current bank then change to the bank I want or should I open a new business account with bank I want and close my joint account and transfer the cash to the business account?

just go to the bank you want to be with and ask them how to do it.

You will have to pay a lot of extra charges with a business account, that is why they want you to open one. It's cheaper to run your small business through a current account.
