I remember the Polls Tax riots and I think they changed the scenery of British politics. Now may be the time when a few million people marching down Whitehall might be a serious signal to this ridiculous 'government' that enough is enough. And I'm a Tory.

It would be rather fun if we had some kind of Grand Coalition marching down The Mall (disaffected Tories included).
I've usually voted Conservative, but I'm appalled at these shenanigans. Whether or not the MPs wanted Truss, she- with her policies - was democratically elected by their system (it may be flawed, but it is still the system) and they should stand together, not behave like a rabble of spoilt children. They are wilfully leaving the country open to a potential coalition of Labour, Lib-Dems & Greens; which would not only bring it to its knees but bury it.

If I lived at Tunbridge Wells I'd sign myself 'disgusted'.
