pay as you go charges
3 Answers
I was recently told that on pay as you go, you don't get the use of the entire amount of money you top up with.
for instance, If i put 10 in, I expect 100 texts or 10 worth of talk time etc. This person said you don't get that.
Can anyone tell me if this is true and why? What other charges/fees are there?
I often feel like my money has run out much sooner than I felt it should have, but just figured it just seemed that way to me.
Thanks

Some phone companies, e.g. Virgin or T Mobile, have a monthly charge option for pay as you go customers, where you pay them a set fee per month and get so many "free" texts and cheaper call charges than the standard pay as you go option. You can change your tariff each time you top up using your handset, so check what options you and your friend are using.
