I’m a recent British Gas new customer (pay as you go)
It’s been a nightmare since day one
The app isn’t working
I’m waiting for my new gas top,up card to come
I can’t top up via the app over the phone or the guest links the helpline have sent me or at the post office using my number to top up.
Couldn’t get through on Friday to talk with anyone on any of their social media platforms and the helpline person couldn’t help either . I have absolutely no idea what to do next?

They are awful. They are presently lying about me quoting data that they apparently put into their database, and using that lie to try to extort money from me for something that never occurred. I've been told it has been fixed twice, and on the last calls I made to them I was asked to hold for so long that the call dropped, I phoned back to be told the agent is with another customer and would phone me back, but she just didn't bother. I'd never recommend them to anyone.
