Not that sentence, this one I've just read in the DM
"Between 2011 and 2018 - when they both attended Dale Winton's funeral - neither Little Britain star were seen in public together."
The report is about an apparent falling out between Matt Lucas and David Walliams
To me it makes sense if 2018 was the date of Dale Winton funeral... they didn't meet in public between 2011 and 2018.
Maybe it should say neither WAS but am not sure either way
Seems to make perfect sense to me unless you want to quibble about “was” and “were”
The punctuation makes it perfectly clear that the funeral was in 2018.
Why on Earth would you think otherwise
