Whether it's important or not will depend upon how many miles she drives each year. They've got about 4 years life left in them and they'll probably need changing after 20,000 miles (for the front ones) or 40,000 miles (for the rear ones). So if she drives more than 10,000 miles per year, they'll all need changing before the four year period is up anyway.
Otherwise she should go back and demand a discount.
According to klaz's link, the trade considers any time up to 5 years as still being "new". If bought this year she could legitimately take a copy to show these are "old" tyres. If bought last year there may be some discussion ahead.
This raise an interesting question which I must follow up.
In Germany it is common practice to have two sets of wheels, one fitted with summer tyres the others with winter tyres, the latter may only be used for perhaps 4 or 5 months & also during the time when most people do the least mileage.
I wouldn't mind betting that some of those tyres are rather old indeed.
