Condemned for not attending a game of football on the other side of the planet thereby denying whiny republicans and Trots the opportunity to criticise hime for doing what he's not doing.
A spokesman for the prince said something anodyn and his wee lassie was roped in too.
William is quoted by an un-named source as saying "I'll be king one day and I WILL have my revenge on these gobby proles, especially that Logan one. Bloody rhythmic gymnanst is it? And they call my job a waste of time."

If the RAF or private flight used there would have been an outcry from many sides. Commercial airline might not have been easy to arrange without inconveniencing others. As said before damned either way
Thing is, these days, bring criticised by climate activisists is more a badge of honour than anything. So I don't see he could really be damned for going.
Hadn't realised he was FA president. It is understandable the diary may be full, but not anticipating such things is a bit of a drop off. And I bet private planes don't need to much fitting in, especially when one has been born a royal with royal privileges.
IMO he ought to have shuffled things about given his position as president, but I guess a few ladies having a kick about didn't rate that much bother.

// The aircraft is still going to fly to Sydney whether he is on it or not so it doesn't make any difference.//
Most dont feel guilty about flying as they can would probably claim that them flying dont affect climate change as the plane is flying anyway.... but if everyone said no i wont fly and contribute flights would reduce or stop and it will help with climate change

//Aircraft emissions are a drop in the ocean.//
So's everything- car emissions in London are a drop in the ocean for example, so's Chinas carbon emissions.... but in total it all adds up . Otherwise if we're all just going to say everythings a drop in the ocean noone would do any thing and things wont improve

But everyone isn't going to stop flying, so that scenario doesn't fly, bobbin.
Yeah, the big issue as I understand it, is general power for industry, domestic, etc. That's where any difference would be made, not so much transport. And we all know which nations still won't curb fossil fuel power stations.
