Referendum Remainers have vowed to punish the Tories for Brexit. They feel it is their turn now to say "Let's get the Tories Done"As they are targeting 450 seats .Best for Britain unveiled a list of recommendations  aimed at achieving the heaviest possible electoral defeat to keep the Tories out of power for a decade.

Seems like Brexit is going to bring the extinction and extermination of The Tory Party. I always knew it would... right back when Boris Conned the gullible and vulnerable people who voted for him.             Looks like it's pay back time .

The Conservatives had a free vote in the referendum, as did Labour. Both parties were split and both parties had remainers and leavers.  
Labour have not pledged to rejoin the EU or single market, so targeting Conservatives in 450 seats seems a waste of time.

Gromit 13.30 . That's just your opinion. I know quite a lot of Remainers especially amongst the expat crowd who have now quite rightly been given  back the right to vote in UK Elections.  Who have been waiting for july 4th to get their own back for Brexit .Bring it on.

I doubt the party is heading for extinction, but were it so it'd be for failing to capitalise on the decision to leave the unaccountable federal block, not for having the (these day not so) common sense to get the heck out.

 

Should remoaners deliberately vote Labour purely in retaliation for having their nose put out of joint, then they may well live to regret their decision. It'll be their bed they've made, and they'll have to lie in it.

OG 14.07 Disagree with that one OG. It's the Brexiteers who may, and many already have ....regretted their decision. It is their bed they have made and now are having to lie in it having nightmares about the high cost of living and more that they inflicted on themselves.

My only criticism of the Tories over Brexit is that they did not wholeheartedly get behind what the country had decided & failed to negotiate (or not) the best way through the transition.

I disagree with brexit and think it was a mistake but frankly the country has far more serious problems to deal with. we lost at least 3 years thanks to this ridiculous project taking up all the airtime. i don't want us to waste any more effort on it.

Why do you think the red wall (50 solidly Labour seats) all voted for the Conservatives in 2019?  
It was because the Conservatives promised to uphold the result of the referendum. The Conservatives promised to 'Get Brexit Done', and Labour had no policy to deliver or finish a smooth Brexit.   
Those Red Wall seats will all revert back to Labour this time without 'Best for Britain' wasting their time there.

I hate to keep on about what a hammering you Tory supporters are going to take on Ab. But if you want to save face you could always defect to another Party. TTT has already done so .He doesn't want to be a loser.Especially now the latest research by Survation released over the weekend and using the MRP System indicates the Tories could be reduced to 72 seats . I disagree with them I think the Tories will end up with 66 seats.
