And life under a Labour government is going well isn't it?

The budget was a disaster for the country with level of debt being increased. Personally I will benefit from  the government spending all the extra borrowed money on public services/infrastrucure as I will not be around to face the paying back the debt in the future. Bit like a parent living it up in a five star hotel for a year knowing the grandkids will beg the £400,000 bill plus interest in a few years time.

Also as a saver with no debt, I will benefit from interest rates staying higher for longer (bond market is predicting same at the moment). But if you have a mortgage then suck it up.

Get over what?

Twas ever thus on here- eg 2019 when Labour was overwhelmingly rejected by Boris's resounding victory. And don't forget Brexit- not overwhelming but a clear margin.
