Morning, Matakari. You have a few mistakes dotted around, but hopefully these will 'get you through' - one batch would be lovely!

11 Chorees - Chore,unpleasant job and E (normou)S.

23 Sea Oak

7 An anagram that you should get very easily - 'an aide' and oxygen

24 Knesset

30 Helluva

8 Superadd

In 7d follow NAC's guidance....and note your E is in the wrong place

Many thanks, NACW and newmodarmy, I thought this one would be more Matakari-friendly, but not so! Help with this batch should bring this to a close, I hope.

3d  Feel cheated when gourde changed ( 6 ) : ?OO??D
( Thought of an anagram for “gourde”…)
26d  Fold in rock introductory section ( 5 ) : ?L??A
29d  June’s predecessor eats primitive river flowers and eel ( 6 ) : MU?R??
30d  Why cast less heartless divine inspirations? ( 5 ) : H??L?

Thanks, Matakari..

3 Rogued

26 Alapa

29 Murray

30 Hwyls

Yes, it'd be good if this brought it to a close - I didn't see you needing three batches for this one!

Matakari, if this one is still proving too tough for you, switch over to Private Eye! The puzzle there is very straightforward.

Thanks, NACW, I got “ROGUED” and “MURRAY” but could not parse the latter. Another useful lesson which I will not abandon so quickly. Confirmation for the following would be welcomed:

4d Ed’s equal portion of hope in a reprieve ( 5 ) :  PE??E  ( PEACE )
33d Hawk’s beginning, loudly and clearly, to sound like owl (4 ) : H?U?  ( HOUT )
18a Whitener accepted with embarrassment ( 5 ) : A?ENE  ( AGENE )
40 Special period for healthful particle in Islay ( 5 )  : S??ME  ( STIME )

And this one:

16a Confused lover embraces suitor’s second opening ( 6 ) : L?U?CE

PS: NACW, I’ve already done the EYE Crossword 790. I have not yet seen N0 791.

16 louvre, anag of lover + u

16a most obvious clue I've seen in a while.

Anagram + second letter of.....

Thanks, Matakari.

33,18 and 40 are correct.

16 A - your C is wrong. You should have spotted the French word very quickly!  It's simply an anagram ('confused'- a well known indicator) of Lover and the second letter of 'suitor'.

There, Matakari - I think you really are giving up too soon!  That really was a terribly easy clue.

And 4 D was another easy one, hidden in the clue (remembering the preamble's mention of extra words).

The Private Eye puzzle I mentioned is from the latest issue.
