Boo! Boo! Black sheep banned
Nursery school bosses ordered the words of the traditional rhyme 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' to be altered to 'Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep'.
The change was made to avoid offending children after teachers examined the nursery's equal opportunities policy
Anyone else think this is ridiculous?

Of course, it is ridiculous. What do you expect? Since the person banning it seems to aim at stirring things up. Several stories went round like this and when the public were asked (which they rarely are about this sort of thing) they felt it was ridiculous too. It makes you wonder if someone there may not like 'blacks' and use a scandal story to upset as many people as possible.
When people of 'colour' are asked for their opinion: it had not even entered their heads to ban a nursery rhyme. They were'nt bothered about the rhyme.
Someone up there enjoys stirring things? propaganda?
