motorbike lanes
I am often made to swerve to avoid motorbikes which come zig-zagging down between 2 lanes of moving traffic, thus creating a third lane. Can they legally do this or are they breaking a law?

Because of a recent court case where a car driver was prosecuted, fined and ordered to pay damages for knocking a motorcycle over whilst the motorcyclist was "filtering" this is no longer applies!
After driving for over 47 years, a lot of it in and around London I have never "been made to swerve" in the circumstances described in the Question, bit of sour grapes me thinks!
