Is it true that there is a law that enough ppl at a workplace disagree witha person that all the staff can form a petition like toll to get them fired or transfered? Just that I heard a rumour?

Thanks

Come off it - there's no law against disagreeing with someone.
This is complete rubbish. Under employment law you would all be found guilty of bullying and harrassment and end up in front of an employment tribunal (with your bosses for allowing it to happen).

well its not really the staff that are bullying its the person in question that is. and the management dnt have a adequet reason to fire her.
This would be unfair dismissal and the person would be able to take the employer to an industrial tribunal. The employer would have to have a good reason to have the employee redeployed or dismissed. If it is a simple personality clash, then sounds like this emploee is being bullied by the majority of the work force. Things like sending one to Coventry, shouting, threats, abuse, intimidation, humiliation, excessive criticism, overruling / undermining, etc, can all be seen as forms of harrasment and bullying.

AHHDUNDEE this is what all the staff are getting off the person im referring to. the manager wont fire her cos he is too scared, while she just bullies and be littles ppl
Then you have to take it to an official harrasment procedure. you will have to have enough "hard" evidence though, and it`s a long drawn out process which can cause a lot of stress. Is this person in the UK?
Question Author
yes they are within the uk. the whole staff except a select few we are talkin 90% of staff are fed up with her bullying etc
Question Author
would my 'hard ' evidence could that be a letter off every1 who is fed up be enough?
"hard" evidence is any recorded harrasment she has done. Dictaphones can be helpful in these situations, or any letters or notes she has left. Go to google and type in Unison and bullying (together) in the search, there should be some helpful information in there.
