Credit Card Harrassement
6 Answers
I unfortunately got myself into debt with my credit card and my husband has just got us a remortgage with which we are going to completely clear my credit card so we don't keep having to pay the enormouse interest. My question I would like help on is this A month ago I told the credit control people of my bank with whom I have the credit card that I would be paying off the card completely once the monies have come through. I have kept them informed throughout and when we had a delay on our remortgage because we changed solicitors I phoned the bank and told them of the delay and sent them a copy of the letter. They said it was okay and would note this on my screen file since then I have had four phone calls and one letter stating I am ignoring them and asking for immediate payment. I rang them telling them of this and they apologised and said I would get no more letters or phonecalls but they still keep ringing me at work which is embarassing despite my keeping them informed every step of the way is this harrassement and should I seek advice on how to complain

Try your bank's website or phone them to find out their complaints procedure.
Use it and ask for written confirmation that all their systems have been updated so that it will not happen again.
