Credit card transaction failed but still have goods
Hi ,
We brought something in Thailand on credit card but our bank cancelled the transaction as it was out of character for our buying habits. However we did technically willingly buy the item and we have brought it home. however we don't now want the item as it turned out to be a scam (the item is very overprised). What should we do with regards to the product as we don't want to spend the money again to purchase it or even be nice to the company as the tricked us. Legally can they take the money back off us again ( we have cancalled the credit card that it was used on therefore they shouldn't be able to make the payment again right? However they do have our address and contact details). Can they take it by either by invoice or any other methods? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you don't know it, and can't find it, you could have a cheque sent to a charity working in that country.
I'd really forget it though - it's not your fault, and it's not like you can drop over to rectify the situation.
