My boss is leaving!

I'm a Personal Assistant for our EMEA Sales Director. We have a few changes within our company. This has ended with my boss leaving the company. My question is: Where does this leave me and what rights do I have as I won't be a PA anymore?

This all depends on how long you have been there - redundancy is an option to them or they must do their best to find you an alternative post within the company. Ask the bloke who's leaving if he wants to take you with you to his new place or if he can swing a deal with his new employers (if he has one). Are you a member of a union ? Do you have a HR person you could speak to ? Do it now so you can sleep at night !!
