Can anyone help me on this please? Im due my baby in May, which entitles me to the 9 month maternity leave:-) The thing is, its in my contract that my employers will pay me full pay for my maternity leave (which at time of contract was for 6 months and this states this in contract), where do I stand on the 9 months? Should I be entitled to full pay for 9 months? Or will I only get full pay for 6 months and whatever my employer decides for the last 3 months? I realise I am very lucky with this as it is.

They looking into it, but I thought I'd find out independantly what chance I have.

Thanks in advance.

hi Topcat,

I think that as its an offer of your company that they pay you 6 months full pay then they may just limit it to that period rather than increase it. It really is just down to how generous they are feeling I suppose.

Best of luck
