I left my previous work in Oct and have recieved my P45. I recieved a letter today along with a wage slip for Nov to say that they have overpaid me for my Nov wage and they will take back the money from my Dec wage.

My query/problem is that obv i shouldn't have recieved the Nov payment at all but how will they take the money back from me as i won't have a wage from them in Dec either? I'm not going to contact them as although i am a semi honest person and half of me just wants to waste the money and the other half knows it's not really right.. i am not prepared to chase them to give the money back.

I hope that makes sense

They are obviously not very efficient! However, the money is not yours and you know it isn't. If you keep it with the intention to deprive them of it this is theft. So whatever you do, do not spend it. My view on these things is that it always best to be open and up front about them - in other words to let them know what has happened. If you decide not to, you must keep the money so you can pay it back when they ask for it.
