yes they are , you can only tint the drivers and passangers by 25%, but you CAN NOT tint the front screen in any way, you can only put up to a 6inch sunstrip. all the others can be as dark as you like. I have just hadn mine done it looks awsome. i hope this helps.
ps: get it done by a pro it's not as easy as it looks.
Do you on cars and in the UK? If so, yes, up to a certain level of tint.
In my owners manual it does say that tinted windows can interfere with the sat nav system so that is something to consider.
