a person not living with spouse for 3 years,,,,how can divorce be done???

You need to discuss two main areas :-

division of assets (property, belongings etc) and debts (if jointly signed for) and
care and provision for any children of the marriage.

After 3 years apart I would have thoughht that most of this would have been settled by now.
