Ive got insured on a friends car that he is loaning me, i have the MOT and insurance but dont have the log book, can i still get the car taxed? Or can i tell them that the log book has been lost and then get the post office where im getting it taxed to send off for a new log book?

yes,but they will charge you �19 for the new log book.
yes,but i think they charge �19 for a replacement log book
Have you got the car tax renewel form,there is a ref number on there. You can use this to tax on line so log book wouldn`t be needed.
